Ages 18 to 24 years or emancipated minors ages 16 and older. Must
have a source of income.Provides youth with low-income housing, case
management, independent living skills, and other supportive services.
Supportive services includes crisis intervention, mediation, career
exploration, job-seeking skills, conflict resolution, cooking and
nutrition classes, budgeting, banking, utilities hookup, and public
assistance application help. Program is up to 18 months long and is
designed to empower youth to make the transition to independent living.

Provides comprehensive long-term transitional housing and intensive
case management for homeless families. Meals are provided on-site,
and sack lunches are provided for working residents. Services include
counseling, employment assistance and training, life skills classes,
financial planning, assistance locating housing, basic adult education,
and medical screening. There is a charter school for elementary age
children and childcare.

Provides transitional case management and direct emergency services
to low-income working families, individuals, and homeless persons.
Provides food; formula, diapers, clothing when available; referrals
to shelter; transportation assistance; rental and utility (gas and
electric) funds when available. Case managers can shelter clients
directly at the Interfaith Shelter Network and with both County or
Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) hotel vouchers when available.
Only the Downtown San Diego site provides security deposit assistance
through the City of San Diego Security Deposit Guarantee Program.
This program does not provide cash but is a security deposit guarantee
program, available only to people moving into rental units (including
Section 8) within the City of San Diego (zip codes beginning with
921). Downtown San Diego provides referrals to the Lions Club Vision
Clinic. Downtown San Diego also refers to the Schwarzman Senior Emergency
Fund, which provides emergency loans to seniors 60 years and older
who are facing short-term financial difficulties (loans range from
$20 to $200). El Centro provides case management, emergency food,
financial assistance with utility bills, discounts on utility bills,
monthly commodity distribution, and clothing vouchers.

homeless and poor persons in the downtown San Diego area. Provides
clothing and hygiene items. Also offers pastoral counseling services.
On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday provides occasional emergency
food year round and emergency clothing and blankets in the winter
only. Program Hours/Days: 12:15 pm (no sooner), Sunday/Line up for
ticket to congregate lunch.(Ticket is not mandatory. Everyone who
shows up will be served.)
