Scholarship

Each year we strive within out programs to make education a top priority. Whether it is helping the kids with resources they need while in school, tutoring assistance or mentor encouragement we believe to break the cycle of homelessness we must help our teens succeed in school. Beginning in 2008 we are awarding a scholarship to the graduate who as proven to be our "champion overcomer" while in Care House. This student also must qualify with a solid GPA and have a grounding in the spiritual foundation of what Care House represents. This scholarship is named remembering a long time friend and supporter of Care House. We miss our dear Sylvia Rivinius and are pleased to offer this scholarship as a tribute to her life and her example of what it means to love unconditionally.
